We warmly invite you to celebrate Diwali this year as part of
Oxford's Christmas Lights Festival
Sharing time with loved ones and the community is the most important feature of Diwali
We are starting at 6pm in Westgate Shopping Centre on the lower ground floor near Leiden Square (in the unit next to Seasalt) with a dhol (drums) and Garba (dance) performance There will be an opportunity to join in too! We will then form a diya (lantern) procession led by a traditional dhol player to OVADA
At the warehouse, see what artists Harmanpreet Randhawa, Sarah Catterall, Kashmira Patel and Mita Vaghela and members of the South Asian Community have been working on to co-produce rangoli designs and a sari and light installation
There will be chai and snacks at OVADA, Indian food vendors, a live DJ and activities for all the family
Warehouse will be open from 6-9pm
Admission: Free
Location: OVADA Warehouse
