True Form Project will ask to collect the oral histories and memories of music and living in the area from a South Asian perspective.

True Form Projects is currently involved in a 3-year project which is archiving over 3000 records which were part of one of the oldest south Asian record stores in the UK based in Balsall Heath, Birmingham. In this exciting event, you are invited to immerse yourself in part of this collection and listen to some of the vinyl archive. There will also be a screening of their film ‘Request Line’ which was exhibited in Manchester Museum last year. We will be joined by local artists and DJs playing music on the Friday evening and the Saturday a bit less loud with refreshments and the collection of oral histories.

Everyone is invited to listen to the archive of music and look at the cover art!
