Acoustic Lunatics @ OVADA


Following their 2 week residency at OVADA, Bambino dell’Oro present an intricate show which explores the warehouse acoustically, visually and spatially! The band has been focusing on the sonic potential of the space by recording soundscapes which will form part of their forthcoming album. Using found and recycled materials in collaboration with visual artist Emma Lilwall, Bambino dell’Oro has also been busy creating an ambitious and interactive site-specific set to accompany their music. With some other surprise guests along the way, the residency culminates in two spectacular live performances at the warehouse:

Bambino dell’Oro are an Oxfordshire-based acoustic piano/drums duo inspired by the sonic and visual aesthetics of modern electronic music. Drawing upon influences varying from jazz to prog-rock to minimal and experimental music, they have a unique focus on intricate and intriguing live shows which incorporate other less conventional instruments! For the first show Bambino dell’Oro are proudly supported by:

Jack & The Arrows
Sublime trio with stunning vocal harmonies and beautiful songs. Jack and his band are always a jaw dropping, eye dilatating, ear tickling act to experience.

Count Drachma
Count Drachma sing Zulu Maskandi music. Look out for looped saxophone grooves, Reggaeton percussion and Celtic overtones!
