12 – 22 March 2015
LAUNCH EVENT: 11 March 2015, 6pm
Audiograft returns with its annual mix of new experimental music, sound art concerts and exhibitions. This year’s festival opens your ears and eyes to extraordinary sounds and radical music, with speakers mounted on pendulums and helium balloons, sound frequencies morphed by heat, bells rung mechanically and melted down in a furnace and performances that create absorbing and evocative sound worlds and visuals.
Over two weeks, new experimental music, sound art events and exhibitions will pop up in some of Oxford’s most interesting venues and spaces. Throughout the programme you can experience Europe’s oldest concert hall, an incredible semi-industrial warehouse, and freely traced electromagnetic fields perceived on an Electrical Walk in your urban environment.
At the heart of Audiograft 2015, OVADA is proud to present work by:
JANEK SCHAEFER
MARIO DE VEGA
ARNO FABRE
