The summer residency at OVADA was a phenomenal experience. Having 24- hour access to the warehouse space allowed my painting process room to breathe and grow in new directions. I achieved my goals in creating large-scale paintings that I couldn’t have made at home. But even more than the amazing space, it was the community of fellow artists, made up of residents, studio artists, and the OVADA admin team, that really made the experience for me. I spent each day engaged in rich community and communal explorations of our creative processes. I left the residency with a much a deeper arts community in Oxford and friendships that will continue to enrich my life and creative work here. Thank you OVADA!

Ovada is an incredible organization. I was lucky enough to be selected to take part in the summer residency 2022 and it was a wonderful experience. Ovada brought a really great and diverse group of artists together, and offered the space, support and freedom for us to create, engage and generally have the best time! We have all stayed in touch and are now starting an artist collective, Ovada was the seed. Thank-you, I would do it all again tomorrow.
