Meet the Facilitator:

“Abstract art, like music, goes to the soul, to the subconscious – art takes us on a journey within. Abstract art triggers memories and dreams as we create our reality with our imagination.

For me paintings are like prayers that I make to heal myself and the world.”

Marcia Scott is a London based painter who takes inspiration from geometry, flow, the colour field work of Mark Rothko as well as work by her stepfather, Frank Bowling.

Honours Graduate of St Martins College of Art and Design.

Assisted Sir Frank Bowling 2010-2017.

Lectured and exhibited at Hampstead School of Art.

Asked by Ralph Lauren to show paintings at his flagship store in Soho NYC.

Work between London and New York.

Shown in Berlin, London, Louisiana, Madrid and New York.
