Silkscreen Printing with Berkshire Printmakers: Sunday 15 September, 10-4pm

from £80.00

When? Sunday 15 September from 10-4pm, with a coffee and lunch break

What? This is a fun, creative workshop, during which you will have plenty of time to try out the technique under the guidance of two expert printmakers. The workshop will take you step by step through; how to get to grips with a squeegee and to create a print using paper stencils and water-based inks. You will explore how to combine the paper stencils with Berkshire Printmakers large library of patterned screens to make complex multilayered prints. You will also learn the difference between optical and physical colour mixing with translucent colours and apply them to your printmaking. At the end of the workshop, you will have produced (more than) several prints, using at least two colours, and probably more. Please note you will be printing with A3 screens masked to an A4 printing window.

Who? All welcome; no experience necessary; age 16+ (under 18s should attend with an adult). Max group size: 10.  This course is ideal for complete beginners or as a refresher for those with some experience of screen-printing.

How? Purchase below or contact engagement@ovada.org.uk for more info. Standard Cost: £95 / Pay Less: £80 / Pay more: £110

If your preferred ticket type is fully booked, please contact engagement@ovada.org.uk for help.
